Using browsers

The ETCMail Web Client is designed to work within an Internet browser.  Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Macintosh Safari are three of the most popular. Not all browsers are supported, so check with your administrator if you have questions.

Some general guidelines when using the ETCMail Web Client within a browser:

• The browser's Back button takes you to the previous page you were viewing. You can also use the Forward button.

• To log off, click . If you browse to a different site without logging out first, your session may remain active until it times out. If you share a computer, other users can access your account while the session is still active.

• Do not use the browser's Reload (Refresh) button. Doing so will download the client and start your session over, which is probably not what you meant to do.
